Nc Nursing Articulation Agreement

Under the agreement, a student who enters into an AppliedScience care program with a GPA of at least 2.0 and a C or better grade in some courses and a registered nurse`s license in North Carolina will have met the lowest general education requirements and admission requirements for the care program for participating colleges and universities. Because admission is a care program, students` access to the program of their choice is not guaranteed. The North Carolina Comprehensive Liaison Agreement (CAA) is a national agreement for the transfer of credits between the North Carolina Community College (NCCCS) system and the public universities that make up the University of North Carolina. This agreement defines college transfer courses that are accepted by all UNC institutions of all 58 nc community universities. Students who meet the study requirements have certain guarantees that the credits acquired will be transferred to UNCW. Admission to university does not constitute admission to a vocational school or a specific program. This Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Articulation Agreement (RN to BSN AA) is located between the State Board of North Carolina Community Colleges and the Board of Governors at the University of North Carolina. It applies to all nc community colleges that have associate level care programs and to the eleven constituent institutions of the University of North Carolina, RN to BSN (Appalachian State University, Fayetteville State University, East Carolina University, North Carolina Agricultural -Technical University, North Carolina Central University, Unc-Charlotte, UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Pembroke, UNC-Wilmington, Western Carolina University and Winston- The agreement describes a study of progress plan , which includes the required basic general courses, which are acceptable for all participating RN and BSN programs. Students who take the plan and take these courses at community universities meet the requirements for access to these RNto BSN programs. Nurses can apply for any of the programs without taking dual courses.

„The RN-BSN Joint Agreement is an important complement to the Independent Joint Agreement and an excellent example of the partnerships between NCICU and NCCCS, in this case for thousands of RNA in the state who are trying to advance their careers with bachelor of science in care,“ said Williams. „NCICU and NCCCS are already starting to work on complementary agreements specific to the discipline.“ It contains a plan identifying common conditions of general education and care that, if successfully completed, will be accepted by all of these programs that UNCW has agreed to adhere to the Articulation Agreement Between the UNC System BFA Programs and the NCCCS AFA in Visual Arts with respect to their existing art license in Studio Art.
